Whatever we need to do, we may have to do it fast. Thanks to Ricky & Tony especially for the endless rounds of awareness they both made around our neighbourhood.The putting up of the collection box at the guard hse is a good idea, hope it would improve collection. Since the event at Cindy's place, I noticed that there is an increase in rounds made by the guards.Nevertheless, the fact remains that collection in our Zone is still insufficient to keep even a single guard! The following strategies were mentioned :
- Increase monthly rate to counter the shortfall on collection as a short term measure, how do we go about this??
- The installation of the boom gate may be more complex as we have not obtained conscent from the majority ??? The financing part may be solved through the increase contribution or temporary financing scheme, I think.
- Install the perimeter barb wire fencing approx RM 12+k along 7/12 and the end of Berlin wall in front of Anne's place, while we're waiting for everyone to chip in, may I suggest we open up a voluntary temporary financing scheme; eg if 24 people agreed to temporay finance this; each of him/her may need to fork out RM 500, and once payments are received from the rest , this amount would then be reimbursed???
The choice of making our place save has always been ours, but unfortunately we have not been speaking in 1 voice. Guess, we may need to work harder for this collectively.
