Dear Zone B owners/residents,
In response to the need for mutual cooperation and to promote awareness and good neighbourliness, Yuenn and Khai (House No.16) have set up this blogspot to facilitate communication between all the owners and residents of Zone B.At the request of some of the owners and residents, I wish to put on record that on Wednesday (4/2/09) at approximately between 10-10.30 a.m my house was broken into by thieves who managed to ransack my house and took away my money, jewellery and some personal items worth abt RM30k. The thieves entered my house by way of cutting the grill at the sliding door. I was informed by the investigating police officer that the job was done by professional thieves.
The break in and theft goes on to show how lax our security has been and that we shd, before the thieves strike again, take some proactive steps to prevent or outsmart them. Let's all work together to fight against all crimes in our neighbourhood to ensure that our home is safe to live in.
Personally, I was not that affected by the material loss but was more affected by the paranoia that I am suffering now. The thought that my privacy has been infringed and that my movements had been observed by strangers was something that will take quite a while to forget. BUT I am convinced that, with your prayers and concern shown and with time, I would be able to overcome it.
